In
planning the community, the founding fathers created great open spaces
in parks and with wide boulevards, to enhance the quality of life. Today,
there are homes in Zion to fit every budget and lifestyle, and they range
from turn-of-the-century Victorians and large executive styles in new
subdivisions to handsome condominium complexes, townhouses and rental
apartments. Prices for existing homes typically range between $90,000
and $325,000. The average sale price for a home in 2002 was $150,000.
Nearly 100 new single-family homes have been constructed in the community
each year since 1990.
