
Boone County’s neighborhoods host numerous parks. In Lebanon, there is Lebanon Memorial Park, Abner Longley Park, Hot Pond, and James Hill Park. Some of Zionsville’s parks include Lion’s Park, Jennings Field, Zion Nature Center, Lincoln Park, Starkey Park, Nancy Burton Memorial Park and the new Rails-to-Trails pathway. In addition, athletic facilities at the three local high schools offer a variety of recreation options, including the weekly community “All Comers” track meets held at Zionsville High School in the summer.
Boone County is home to nine top-rated golf courses. The Trophy Club is ranked as one of the finest in the country. Golfers can enjoy the Golf Club of Indiana, which offers a challenging course for the most experienced golfer. Relax and enjoy a round of 18 holes at Cool Lake Golf Course where you’ll find plenty of shade and a great round of golf!
