Our four-star community schools continue to grow in Brownsburg. We have five elementary schools, a brand new Junior High and a recently renovated High School. The Brownsburg Bulldogs are strong in dozens of sports, and have AAAA football championships. Many sports including swimming, basketball, golf, tennis, and field and track have both boys and girls teams.

Brownsburg Community Schools also provide outstanding academic leadership. This includes field experiences such as a two-week trip to Italy in the summer. Brownsburg also has a very strong tradition in music. The 600-student band festival in spring draws enthusiastic crowds every year. After winning local and regional contests, the Brownsburg High School Marching Band of 240 players placed 8th in the 1999 Indiana State Marching Band finals.

Additional private schools are available for children of all ages. A number of colleges and universities are in Indianapolis, 30 minutes away: Butler University, University of Indianapolis, Marian College, and Indiana Vocational Technical College (Ivy Tech). Also located within 90 minutes of Brownsburg are Indiana University, Purdue University, Wabash College, DePauw University, Indiana State University and Ball State University.
