Healthcare
There are three hospital/medical centers, one in Chesterton and two located within 15 minutes of the Duneland community. In addition there is a specialized bone and joint clinic with an extended care/rehab unit, an outpatient surgical center and a kidney dialysis facility conveniently located between a major toll road and interstate route for easy access. Two more new hospital projects and an urgent care center, collectively valued at over $500 million, are slated to open within the next two years.
