Transportation
Convenient access to and from the Duneland area is available through the east/west corridor of Interstate 94, Indiana Toll Road (interstate 80/90) and U.S. 12 and U.S. 20 connecting north/south Interstate 65 and State Road 49. Rail service is available to Chicago, Illinois and to South Bend, Indiana with stops in between. Chicago’s Midway and O’Hare International airports are 50 and 65 miles to the west and South Bend Regional Airport is 45 miles to the east. Greyhound, limousine and taxi services are available as well. Indiana’s International Port is served by 12 modern ship berths and is home to more than 21 maritime/industrial tenants. The Port services barges and ships from around the world. Cargos crossing the docks average 2-3 million tons annually.
