Hand-built Amish furniture and meticulously sewn quilts can be found in several small shops throughout the county. A stunning variety of Amish goods can be found both at the Black Buggy General Store in Washington and at the Gasthof Amish Village in Montgomery.
For the adventurous bidder, Dinky’s Auction Center offers a special treat on Friday evenings. Anything you can think of is likely being auctioned off on any given night including produce, homemade goods, farm machinery, livestock, hand tools—you name it. If bidding makes you hungry, plenty of homemade Daviess County fare and desserts are yours for the sampling.
