The mission of the Kokomo/Howard County Chamber of Commerce is to be the primary advocate of business and promote its development and growth, enhancing the quality of life in the community.
The Chamber is comprised of primarily businesses. Due to the support of our business community, we consider ourselves “the voice for business.”
The Chamber sponsors Business Development programs such as Small Business Council, Existing Business Assistance (EBA), and the Women’s Business Council. Community Development programs include working with the downtown revitalization committees, business and education partnerships, leadership programs, and newcomer information resources. The Chamber also works on legislative issues that affect business. Membership Development programs (such as Leads Exchange, Business After Hours and referrals) provide our members with benefits to help their company grow and prosper. The Chamber is influential and successful due in large part to the many volunteers who have worked on Chamber committees to make the Kokomo area a great place to live and work.
