Education

graphicStudents in LaGrange County benefit from small teacher-to-student ratios and curriculums designed to help them succeed during their post-high school years. From elementary basics to high school college and career preparatory classes, each and every student receives a well-rounded–both educational and extra-curricular–experience. Served by a number of school districts, LaGrange County students board buses or walk to schools close to their homes.

Shipshewana students attend Shipshewana-Scott Elementary School, from kindergarten to fourth grade. Fifth through 12th grades attend classes at Westview Junior-Senior High School in nearby Emma. In Wolcott, kindergarten through fifth grades head to Wolcott Mills Elementary School. Students grades 6 through 12 attend Lakeland Middle School and Lakeland High School in LaGrange.
