62-bed acute care facility, which was established in 1950 and purchased
by Vencor, Inc. in 1985. Licensed by the State of Indiana and accredited

supplies a full range of services to county residents. A Level III emergency
department and hospital based ambulance service provides quick care for

also boasts am obstetrics/newborn unit, a physical rehabilitation unit,
fully equipped surgery suites and the latest surgical advances, clinical
laboratories, and radiology diagnostic services. Outpatient clinics specialize
in the areas of orthopedic, oncology, cardiology, neurology, allergy,
and pulmonary. Vencare Occupational Health Services, offers businesses
and employees post accident care, drug and alcohol screens, employment
physicals, on-site health education and testing, physical and occupational
therapy, and in-house pharmacy.
