Our community is warm and friendly, and rich in heritage and tradition. With an 11,500-acre wild life preserve, abundance of parks and quaint craft specialty shops you wont find anywhere else, LaGrange is a great place to visit and live. We have two 18 hole golf courses and numerous lakes for fishing and boating. A thriving agricultural community, LaGrange has a wide variety of county, state, and federal agencies available to assist farm and agribusiness families and individuals. LaGrange is home to one of the largest Amish settlements in the Midwest. We are very proud of the heritage and family morals they bring to our county. Our county has four area schools that offer excellent education and have many fine opportunities to excel in your favorite sport, theater, band or classroom activity. We offer a combination of festivals and festivities appealing to all walks of life. Corn School, Flea Market, 4th of July celebrations, County Fair, parades, musicals and community concerts in our parks are but few of the entertaining events you wont want to miss. It is my desire that this directory will provide you with information about our county, our towns, and their many benefits. Included is a list of the businesses that support the LaGrange County Chamber of Commerce. These are the businesses and organizations that care enough about the future of LaGrange to invest in the Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber of Commerce welcomes you to LaGrange County. Lora Tormanen
