LaPorte Hospital & Health Services (a 235-bed facility that provides contemporary technology) is made up of four healthcare entities: the hospital, VNA Homecare & Hospice, the LaPorte Regional Physician Network (a physician group) and the LaPorte Hospital Foundation. LaPorte Hospital & Health Services is integrated with Clarian Health Partners, the nation’s second largest academic medical center.

LaPorte Hospital employs a support staff of 1,400 healthcare specialists, and has approximately 200 auxiliary and volunteer workers. More than 100 physicians provide the full range of medical specialties. The hospital’s medical services and facilities include the Center for Cancer Treatment, the Heart Center, a community health center, 24-hour emergency medical services, the Osteoporosis Center, a neuro-sleep center, the Stress Center, the Joint Replacement Camp, and the Wellness Resource Center which offers many classes that promote a healthy lifestyle.

In addition to LaPorte Hospital’s Continuing Care Center, there are two high-quality, skilled nursing homes and three assisted living communities in the area.

The LaPorte Medical Group is a multi-specialty office that offers services such as behavioral medicine, family practice, internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology, geriatric medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, pulmonology, occupational medicine, oncology and surgery. The clinic also provides immediate care for non-life threatening illness and injury, physical therapy, mammography, x-ray services, fluoroscopy, and Memorial Home Care. A pharmacy in the building dispenses prescribed drugs and offers medical equipment.
