The South Bend International Airport is nearby, only 25 miles to the east of La Porte, and offers 10 non-stop flights and connections. Local private and corporate aircraft are based at La Porte Municipal Airport, which has two paved (5,000-by-75-foot and 2,800-by-60 foot) runways. The airport offers jet and high-octane fuels, airframe/engine maintenance and repair, and flight instruction. There are no landing fees or airport parking fees.

Burns International Harbor is only 25 miles west of La Porte. This harbor on Lake Michigan opens all the world’s markets to La Porte manufacturers.
