I have had the opportunity to live in a variety of cities, both large and small, in numerous states and countries. Having experienced life in a number of other communities, if I had to do it over again I would still choose Delaware County as the place where I want to live, work and raise a family.

Once you’ve been a part of our community, you may find it as difficult as I do to put your finger on any one thing that makes citizens of Middletown, U.S.A., or America’s Hometown, as we’re often called, want to call this place “home.”

Muncie/Delaware County is full of people who know how to “neighbor.” Our education system is outstanding and quality education is available for every person of every age who desires to learn. We have a top-rated hospital and local healthcare professionals whose commitment to excellence is unsurpassed. The cooperative spirit our community possesses – business, government, education and labor – ensures that existing businesses and new businesses not only survive, but thrive in our community.

There are so many jewels in Muncie/Delaware County’s crown that it’s truly difficult to pick just one and say, “this – this one particular thing is why you should call my home, your home.” Read through this magazine at your leisure.
