Recreation and Attractions
The natural beauty of Henry County provides a wealth of recreational opportunities. Baker Park in New Castle offers a public swimming pool, basketball, shuffleboard courts, picnic shelters and a playground. Memorial Park (at 362 acres) is the largest county owned park in the state. The Henry County Saddle Club has one of the finest equestrian show facilities in Indiana, and it hosts shows and clinics almost weekly throughout the year. Westwood Golf Club, Rolling Hills Golf Club and four other courses present a variety of options for area golfers.
