graphicgraphicLocated in west central Indiana, Parke County is surrounded by rolling hills, scenic parks, historic neighborhoods and natural splendor. A short drive from Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Chicago or Detroit, Parke County is conveniently located near major Midwestern cities, yet maintains the quiet peacefulness that entices more than 17,000 people to call it home.

Parke is a rural county comprised primarily of farmland. The Wabash River flows at its western boundary. Major towns include Rockville (the county seat), Bloomingdale, Bridgeton, Marshall, Mansfield, Montezuma and Rosedale.

Parke County is easily accessible via I-74 from the north or I-70 from the south. US 41 and US 36 intersect almost in the middle of the county. Major airports in Indianapolis, Terre Haute and West Lafayette make travel throughout the country a breeze.
