Shopping doesn't get any better than in Bridgeton, home to the oldest continuously operating mill west of the Allegheny Mountains. The first two blocks of Bridgeton were placed on the National Historic Register in 1992. Bridgeton is home to a number of fine shops offering everything from collectibles to crafts. Browse through Mansfield's unique shops, where local art, antiques and collectibles abound. The breathtaking view of Mansfield's waterfall and the Mansfield Roller Mill is enough to make the trip worthwhile. After a full day of shopping, satisfy your appetite at one of Parke County's many restaurants. Parke County is renowned for its fresh and delicious homemade cooking, and local restaurants have something to satisfy any palate. A trip to Parke County wouldn't be complete without a visit to Billie Creek Village, a recreated settlement home to three of Parke County's covered bridges, 30 historic buildings and an old-fashioned General Store. The General Store is open throughout the year, and sells everything from pottery to leather goods to everybody's favorite - delicious homemade fudge!
