Parke
County residents take advantage of first-class educational resources for
people of all ages. Knowledgeable, experienced faculties, active school
boards, and involved parents work together to provide a stimulating academic
environment. A well-rounded curriculum emphasizes traditional as well
as contemporary learning skills to prepare students for the future.
Parke
County is home to four elementary schools, three high schools and a number
of trade schools. A number of day care providers and preschools are also
available throughout the region. For higher education, many Parke County
residents commute to Terre Haute to attend Indiana State University, Rose
Hulman Institute of Technology, St. Mary of the Woods College, Indiana
Vocational Technical College or Indiana Business College.
