The most popular recreation spot is Lafayette Park, home to Princeton’s municipal pool, which offers night swimming, basketball courts, tennis courts, shelter houses and walking and riding paths.
The Princeton Department of Parks and Recreation operates several clean, fun and safe parks throughout the city. Jack Bishop Field is a 20-acre sports complex with nine fields accommodating a variety of sports. Princeton didn’t forget the fishermen; Gibson Lake is a 2,500-acre lake open to the fishing public. Golfers will enjoy the Princeton Country Club’s demanding and well-manicured 9-hole course, and numerous other golf courses and country clubs within a 30-minute drive.
