Quality healthcare is a major concern in any community. Wabash County is fortunate to have Wabash County Hospital, a comprehensive and fully accredited hospital. The hospital features more than 400 employees, and over 40 physicians representing a number of medical and surgical specialties. Several family practice and specialty clinics serve the day-to-day needs of residents.

Retirement is a golden time and Wabash County is fortunate to have both the Timbercrest and Peabody Retirement Communities in North Manchester. All levels of retirement living are represented including independent, semi-independent, and dependent residences. Several other facilities provide excellent health care in locations throughout the county, including AmeriCare Living Center, and Miller’s Merry Manor.

Vernon Manor Children’s Home specializes in care for handicapped children. There are also fitness and sports medicine centers in Wabash County that provide fitness assessments, individualized exercise programs, and treatment for sports injuries.
