Whether you enjoy scenic beauty and wildlife, prefer to frequent festivals
and points of interest, or enjoy great 19th century architecture, Wabash
County has some wonderful surprises in store for you. Wabash County is
home to two great reservoirs, Salamonie and Mississinewa. More than 6,000
acres of water
are surrounded by lush forest that features an abundance of animal life.
Wildlife observation areas can be visited at each reservoir site. Hanging
Rock is a limestone formation on the Wabash River near Lagro,
which affords a wonderful view of the surrounding river valley and farmlands.

Plan to visit the Victorian
Village of North Manchester and the Manchester FunFest in August. Other
festivals include Wabashs Very Berry Strawberry Fest, Laketonian
Days and Lagro Good Ole Days in June, Canal Days and the Ole Boys
Tractor Show in July, Wabashs Herb Fest in August, the Roann Covered
Bridge Festival in September and North
Manchesters Harvest Festival in October. The Honeywell Center in
Wabash and Manchester College in North Manchester provide exciting activities
all year.
