When it comes to healthcare, Charles City not only offers a wide range of health-related services, but is backed up by none other than the world-famous Mayo Clinic in nearby Rochester, Minnesota. Charles City is home to the 55-bed Floyd County Memorial Hospital, which is not only affiliated with Mayo and offers a number of local Mayo-staffed clinics, but also just recently completed a major expansion and modernization project to provide more outpatient services.
