

The Bickelhaupt Arboretum is a 14-acre outdoor museum of select labeled trees, shrubs, groundcovers, perennials and annuals. Voted as one of the “Top 10 Lawns with a View in the Midwest,” the arboretum offers a quiet sanctuary any time between dawn and dusk.
Picnic, hike or cross-country ski in one of Clinton’s most treasured assets, Eagle Point Park, a 200-acre park set atop bluffs overlooking the beautiful Mississippi River; noted the widest part of the river. A 1937 Stone Tower provides an additional view of the river and surrounding area. Children’s playgrounds are situated throughout the park, along with a sand volleyball pit and a basketball court. New to the park is a disc golf course for leisure and competitive play. Available year round is a rental facility; The Eagle Point Lodge provides an excellent backdrop for any occasion.

Just south of Eagle Point Park is the Soaring Eagle Nature Center. This nature barn is open for special events throughout the year and during the school term for environmental education classes. Hiking trails, natural prairie, wetland area and a one-room schoolhouse is located at the nature center.
The Felix Adler Children’s Discovery Center honors the memory of Clinton native Frank Adler, (better known as Funny Felix, King of Clowns) who was a clown with the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey circus for nearly 50 years. The center is a family fun and learning place where children are encouraged to ask why. The center combines interactive displays and hands-on experiences to promote exploring, discovery and learning.
Wild Rose Casino & Resort features exciting Las Vegas-style casino gambling with slot machines, blackjack, craps, roulette and other popular games. This newly-built resort features, 600 slot machines, 14 game tables, 60 hotel rooms and six luxury suites, a full-service catering event center, the Coaches Corner Sports Bar & Grill and a Sawmill Buffet.

Riverview Park is a 65-acre park overlooking the Mississippi River and is the home of many amenities: the new marina and restaurant, public boat ramps, tennis courts, ball diamonds, picnic tables, playground equipment, a skate park, bandshell area, Alliant Energy Field, the Clinton Area Showboat, an RV Park and the Clinton Aquatic Center and Pool. Spanning the length of the park, Riverview Drive features a recreational trail that follows along the river to the north end of Clinton.
Organized professional baseball began in Clinton in 1895. Today, Alliant Energy Field is the home of the Clinton LumberKings, a professional Class 1A baseball club. With a newly remodeled stadium featuring box seating, a children’s entertainment area, a picnic area and two beer gardens, many enjoy big city family fun and entertainment right here in our community.
Clinton Aquatic Center and Pool has recently been updated and features two waterslides, a lighthouse water fun area, diving boards, and concession and picnic areas, all surrounded by an Olympic-sized pool.

The Clinton, Camanche and Fulton communities are proud of their proximity on the Mississippi River and celebrate this with three marinas – a true boater’s delight. Clinton’s marina is being remodeled and will be a 4,000-square-foot luxury site featuring showers, a lounge and a marina store. The upper level of the marina will boast a bar and grill with a majestic outdoor deck.
Rock Creek Marina and Campground provides a variety of facilities and services for the outdoor enthusiast including camping, paddle boat, canoe, boat rental, marina and camp store. Located on the scenic and fertile backwaters of the Mississippi River, Rock Creek provides family fun and a great outdoor vacation experience for the most rugged of outdoorsman or the family on their first camping trip. The Clinton County Conservation Board offers Blue Heron Eco-Cruises based at Rock Creek Marina and Campground. The Blue Heron offers both public and private cruises. Cruises serve tourists, outdoor groups and schools by providing naturalist-led eco-cruises on the Mississippi River. This is a beautiful, educational view of the Mississippi River.

Members of the community can shop for their favorite “straight from the garden” goodies at the Lyons Farmers Market. Available from May–November, the farmer’s market features fresh produce and freshly baked goods.
Wide River Winery is a small, family-operated winery located just north of Clinton, situated on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. Visitors are welcome to tour both the winery and organic vineyards and enjoy their wine on a new deck overlooking a wooded ravine.
Coming soon to Clinton is the Clinton Sawmill Heritage Experience Museum.

The cities of Clinton, Camanche and Fulton host a variety of events year round for both residents and visitors alike, some of these events include: Clinton Riverboat Days, Camanche Days, Dutch Days, Balloons in June, Corn on the Corner, Autos on the Avenue, Symphony of Lights and many more.
