

No matter what sports and activities you enjoy, you’ll find you can do it all in Clinton, Camanche and Fulton. This is an active community, with people of all ages participating in a wide variety of healthful fun and games.
The area offers 480 acres of parks and wilderness areas, with more than 20 parks, four golf courses and countless ball fields, playgrounds and activity centers. In 21 area facilities and through more than 160 recreational programs and activities designed for everyone from preschoolers to senior citizens, there is much to enhance the quality of life for all.
The Mississippi River alone provides miles of recreation, exploration and excitement. From super-charged water-skiing and wake boarding to quiet, more relaxed activities (like fishing and sailing), the Mighty Mississippi is a great playground in itself. There are numerous public boat ramps, full-service marinas and convenient RV parks.

Canoe or kayak in the peaceful backwaters of the river for a close-up glimpse of the river and its surrounding habitat. Fishing access on the Mississippi is available at Clinton’s handicapped accessible pier and along the Riverview Park Recreation Trail. Clinton also plays host to numerous fishing competitions throughout much of the year.
The Riverview Park Recreational Trail extends 4.8 miles from Riverview Park to Eagle Point Park in Clinton. The Great River Biking and Hiking Trail that runs through Fulton, offers walkers, joggers and bicycle riders a wonderful place to exercise or simply enjoy the river.
There’s also indoor and outdoor tennis, soccer, softball, hiking, camping, picnicking and cross-country skiing. For the horse-lover, travel a few miles north of Clinton and take a trail ride in the beautiful countryside. Two hunting preserves are close by, along with a skating rink and three bowling alleys.
The Muddy River Rugby Club recently put Clinton on the map when they won the national championship in 2004.
