Whether you plan to spend a few hours or a few days in the Fort Dodge area, you're sure to have a lot of fun. Our calendar of events includes Fall Fest, Apple Fest, Frontier Days, the Webster County Fair and Rodeo, the Dayton Rodeo, the Gowrie Fourth of July Celebration, C.O.R.R. Truck Racing, the International Horse Archery Festival, and the International Dragon Boat Races, to name just a few.

Among the many interesting local attractions are the 6000-acre Brushy Creek recreation area, and the nationally recognized Blanden Memorial Art Museum. Visitors can also experience the past at the Fort Museum, where the frontier spirit comes alive again. Special events at the Museum include Frontier Days, held the first weekend in June, Craftman's Weekend, with demonstrations of pioneer arts and skills, and Buckskinner's Rendevous, where modern day 'mountain men' portray the lives of early fur traders. But we're more than just events and attractions. You'll also find lots of friendly people eager to show you our community....and our hospitality.
