Grinnell’s residents rely on the state-of-the-art and compassionate services of Grinnell Regional Medical Center (GRMC). With more than 200,000 outpatient procedures and 3,000 inpatients annually, GRMC is one of the largest rural medical centers in Iowa. The 81-bed hospital is staffed by 50 active physicians with specialties in family practice, emergency medicine, general surgery, internal medicine, anesthesiology, radiology, pathology, neurology, orthopedic surgery, pain management, psychiatry, podiatry, urology and more than 500 employees. The hospital’s Kintzinger Women’s Health Center features private labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum rooms. The obstetric nurses have advanced training and certification in neonatal resuscitation, breastfeeding education, and more. More than 200 babies are delivered annually at the Women’s Health Center.

Mayflower Homes: A continuing care retirement community. Independent living apartments and duplexes are available, as well as assisted living care and nursing care at the licensed 60-bed Mayflower Health Center.
St. Francis Manor: A full service nursing home facility associated with the Seeland Park, a retirement housing community with beautiful homes, activities, and available healthcare.
Friendship Manor Care Center: A licensed 75-bed nursing facility. Amenities include specialized activity program, licensed dietitian, hospice care, respite care, wound care management, pain management, and physical/occupational/speech therapy.
Windsor Manor: An assisted living community with private residences, 24-hour staff, three daily meals, transportation services, and recreational activities.
