Keokuk Community School District has long been recognized as a leader in Iowa education with talented and dedicated professionals. Keokuk is proud to have a first-class educational system with teachers, administration, parents, students and volunteers committed to success. A Strategic Plan guides every decision made in the Keokuk Community School District and growth is tracked annually with the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills. Keokuk students rank higher than the average, both in the state and nationally, in ACT scores. Getting wired for high technology is a priority. Pleasant, Iowa (45 miles); Culver Stockton College in Canton, Missouri (30 miles); Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois (45 miles); and the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa (90 miles).
