A community partnership with HCHC, Healthy Henry County Communities is a collaborative grassroots effort involving a multitude of local and state organizations, agencies, public and private entities, and interested citizens. These active organizations and members band together in order to help create a better quality of life for all area residents. Established in 1999, Healthy Henry County Communities has successfully evolved to continually address quality of life issues that reside in this southeast Iowa region. Recognized as a model program statewide, the non-profit organization is structured to respond to both opportunities and needs as they develop in the communities served.
On top of the outstanding services provided through HCHC and its affiliates, Mount Pleasant is served by a variety of practices, ranging from dental and chiropractic to primary care and optometry.
