Religion
Mount Pleasant is proud of its diverse religious community, which is well represented by more than 15 houses of worship. These congregations serve the area’s needs for diversity in faith and practice, with most meeting regularly for worship services. In addition to these regular services, many local faith-based institutions offer holiday services, religious education and community outreach programming. The Henry County Ministerial Association also spearheads a wealth of ecumenical initiatives and programs throughout the Mount Pleasant area.
