
The Muscatine Community School District serves approximately 5,500 students, with nine elementary centers, two middle schools and one high school. From prekindergarten through 12th grade, the curriculum exceeds standards set by the Iowa Department of Education. Students consistently score at or above national averages on standardized tests in English, math and reading.
Muscatine Community College offers both transfer and career technology programs. Students in the Guaranteed Transfer Program are assured their credits will be accepted at area colleges and universities. The career-course faculty works with local business leaders to train the highly skilled employees needed for today’s competitive job market. MCC also has Bachelor of Arts and master’s programming through Iowa Wesleyan and St. Ambrose University.
