Oskaloosa has approximately 30 churches. These churches represent all major faith groups including Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Evangelical, Episcopalian, and Presbyterian. There are also several other faith groups represented such as Christian Reformed, Bible Church, First Assembly of God, Jehovah’s Witness, Wesleyan Church and many more.

There are several church sponsored events which take place in November and December. The Christian School in Oskaloosa puts on the Festival of Christmas Delights. The First Church of the Nazarene has a Christmas musical program, as well as an annual Live Drive-Thru Nativity. This year, the Nativity marks its 20th anniversary.
