You can visit historic St. Joseph’s Cemetery which is listed in Ripley’s Believe It or Not as the only known U.S. cemetery facing north and south. Rayne is well- known for its RV Rally Facility, with over 600 hookups that can accommodate rallies from all over the United States. The small- town atmosphere and colorful history will have you browsing the antique shops and reliving a bit of the past. Northwest of Rayne is the tiny pilgrim’s chapel in the German settlement called Roberts Cove, which is known for their celebration of the Germanfest, held annually on the first weekend in October.
