Worship
Ascension Parish has many places of worship, representing a number of various faiths. Most places offer tutoring, church fairs, summer programs, Vacation Bible Study and Family and Friends days. In the spirit of community, some churches have outreach ministries such as food banks, financial assistance for electric bills, medications, clothing and holiday giving. Specialized programs for men, women, children and elderly citizens are also available. Some of the local churches offer private schools, counseling and worship services in foreign languages for those whose first language is not English.
