The Biddeford Free Clinic is staffed completely by volunteers and available to those who cannot afford health insurance. The clinic is located at the Martin Center on Alfred Street, Biddeford. The mission of the Biddeford Free Clinic is to provide accessible and free outpatient general medical care and non-narcotic prescription medication to adults and children who have no medical insurance and cannot afford private medical care. www.biddefordfreeclinic.org
The University Health Care (University of New England) offers four centers with individual specialties. The Biddeford site has a family practice residency program, while a second facility features an osteopathic manipulative medicine program.
