Welcome to the Town of Sanford and the Village of Springvale, Maine. We are located southwest of the geographical center of York County. The Town of Alfred is the seat of York County.
The Town of Sanford and the Village of Springvale have an approximate population of 21,850. Services included in the area are similar to those found in cities, but are charmingly rural in character. We enjoy the quality of life of a small town, yet there is a diversified economic and industrial base.
