Memories of the town’s history are kept alive by the likes of resident farmer Gil Griggs, Town Historian Margaret Ingraham, Marion Potter, the Historical Society, and many others who remind us of our responsibilities to the past while planning the present and the future. We
welcome you to our town, which prides itself in community involvement,
from the Recreation Department, to the Health Department, to the many
Town Committees and local organizations and, most especially, to the Town
Meeting form of government. As your local Chamber of Commerce, we are here to welcome you, to assist you in moving throughout our town, to encourage you to take advantage of the many services afforded by our business members, and to direct you to the opportunities to enjoy a wonderful mix of the past and the present.
