Billerica has a wealth of natural treasures in conservation and recreational areas, which includes land owned by the town as well as federal and state land, generally available for public use, including:

Billerica Recreation Department (978-671-0921) provides programs for both children and adults, including golf lessons, canoeing, babysitting, dancing, karate, swimming, BMX racing, and more. It also hosts special trips to places like Nantucket, Tanglewood, Foxwoods, and Cape Cod Scallop Festival. It has recently introduced Education to Go, new instructor-led online courses. The group offers playgroups, daytrips, brunches, monthly meetings, holiday parties, and mom's nights out. Recently they adopted the Kid's Konnection Play-ground, behind O'Connor's Hardware, and did repairs, clean-up and installed new equipment.

Boys & Girls Club of Greater Billerica, located on Campbell Road off Concord Road, is open to all residents of the Town, from boys and girls ages six and up as well as adults and seniors.
