As you head north from the Burlington/Billerica line, you pass the many coffee shops (Dunkin Donuts of which there are at least three, the Coffee Emporium with its delicious muffins, sandwiches, and other fare, or BookEnds Café located right in the local library). Need to drop off your dry cleaning? And pick up a bouquet of flowers? Stop at Ma's Dry Cleaners and Taylor Florist, both located within a short distance of each other in Billerica's Center. OR if you are in need of a prescription, Brooks Pharmacy is one of at least four drugstores within less than a one mile radius of the center of town. OR if you have forgotten that special occasion, you can just drop into Lincoln Discount for a card and a bouquet of balloons to rescue the day. OR perhaps you are interested in other people’s treasures. Shanksmare Consignment Shop, located in North Billerica, has a myriad of items, including clothing, knick knacks, and small furniture for you to add to your collection. AND
if you just want to browse in one location, stop by the Treble Cove Plaza
with its gift store, arts and crafts supply, supermarket, and a Papa Gino's
fast food restaurant. For the exercise enthusiasts, you can slip in a workout at Pro-Fitness or Alan Kessler’s Karate Center, followed by a massage, a haircut, facial, or some other pampering at Escape Salon and Spa. By now you are ready for a quick but delicious meal; there are at least three small restaurants or fast food locations within walking distance. The fun of small town shopping is reflected in its friendly, leisurely, self- fulfilling experience. Billerica is proud to have kept that small town atmosphere despite is growth in population and industrial base.
