Since September 11th, more attention has been focused on veterans from all wars. The Department of Veteran Services provides financial and/or medical assistance, applies for benefits from a variety of agencies and organizations as well as utilizes assistance from existing programs for eligible veterans, widows and, or dependents of veterans.
