Located at the hub of a major highway network, the Taunton area is uniquely situated to meet the transportation needs of any business. Taunton’s Myles Standish Industrial Park is immediately adjacent to Route 495, and only minutes away from routes 24, 44, 138 and 140, which link to routes 95, 93 and 195, all of which provide easy and quick access to airports and seaports in Boston and Providence. The successful restoration of passenger rail service has proven a boon for Boston commuters with stops in nearby Middleboro and Bridgewater, and the possibility of another line and station in Taunton. Commuter bus service is also available from downtown Taunton, and for the recreational and business pilot, East Taunton hosts a municipal airport that also offers flight instruction.
