Finding Your Way

The Tri-Communities of Sterling Heights, Utica and Shelby, are located in west central Macomb County, along the Clinton River, and is one of the County’s fastest growing areas.

Shelby Township is to the north with the City of Sterling Heights in the southern end and the City of Utica right in the heart of both.

Travel by road is easy and convenient, with Mound Road, Van Dyke, Schoenherr and M-53 providing excellent north-south connections, while Hall Road (M-59) and Metropolitan Parkway connect the east and west.

An important industry in itself, and integral to all others, is the vast network of public and commercial railroad lines in the area. The Conrail line serves one of the region’s most productive industrial corridors, as does the North American rail system.
