The Chamber has served the area professionally since 1879, and continues to offer programs and services that make the Albert Lea-Freeborn County area a great place to live and work.

Lt. Albert M. Lea said it best in 1835: “I have seen some romantic and handsome landscapes, but this far surpasses any country I have ever seen, both for beauty and fertility.” The same can still be said today. The Albert Lea-Freeborn County area has continued to blossom since the days of the pioneers.

Freeborn County’s population has reached 33,000 people, the largest city being Albert Lea, which has more than 18,000 residents.
