Treating close to 22,000 patient visits in the Emergency Department, Buffalo Hospital has highly trained emergency providers and advanced lifesaving equipment and technology. The Emergency Department also offers a wide-range of specialists on call for emergency treatment and full-service imaging and laboratory services are available 24 hours a day.

Orthopedics – Buffalo Hospital treats nearly all orthopedic trauma, chronic conditions and sports injuries involving hips, knees, shoulders and other joints and bones. Patients considering hip-replacement surgery don’t need to travel far from home for the latest tissue sparing technique. The anterior approach to hip replacement surgery features a smaller incision and is less invasive, eliminating the need to cut through the muscle or tendons. Patients have less potential pain, quicker recovery times and better mobility.

Abutting the hospital is Buffalo Clinic. Buffalo Clinic has been taking care of the Buffalo community since 1951. As our community has grown, so has the clinic. In 1979, the clinic moved to its present facility on Highway 25 to provide patients with expanded services and more doctors. Because the clinic believes community healthcare has no boundaries, they expanded by opening clinics in nearby Monticello, Albertville and St. Michael to take care of the growing population in these areas.
