Each year thousands of visitors from around the globe visit Chanhassen to experience both the cultural and natural beauty of our city. Only 18 miles from Minneapolis/St Paul airport, Chanhassen is easy to reach by one of the five major highways that traverse the community.

Home to the largest professional dinner theater in the nation, the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre provides a taste of Broadway on its multiple stages year ‘round. AAA magazine has boasted, "Any trip to the Twin cities should include a visit to Chanhassen."

Chanhassen is also home to the Midwest’s largest public garden. The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is a nationally celebrated garden with more than 1,000 acres and 5,000 varieties of plants. The grounds can be explored by foot, bicycle, car, seasonal groomed cross-country ski and snowshoe trails, or by guided walking tours or the Trumpet Creeper Tram Tour.
