Eden Prairie Schools have an outstanding reputation and long history of excellence. In 2006, MONEY Magazine listed our community’s quality schools as the number one reason Eden Prairie is the 10th best place in the country to live. Our students perform above state and national averages on all tests. Every year, students receive numerous academic honors including having the only student in Minnesota to receive a perfect ACT score last year, the most National Merit Scholar semifinalists than any other high school in Minnesota this year, and the greatest acceptance rate of 2006 graduates at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the state. Our school district is also a leader in innovative programs. We teach Mandarin Chinese in fifth grade and offer Spanish immersion and full-day kindergarten programs. A great private school, The International School of Minnesota is located in Eden Prairie. The International School of Minnesota offers preschool (age three) through grade 12 students a unique private, non-denominational, college-preparatory education based upon academic rigor, creativity, and moral development.
