The City of Ramsey has been expanding its green spaces and miles of trails in the past few years as well. Notable parks in Ramsey include Rivers Bend, Central and Elmcrest Park. Ramsey is also home to two championship golf courses, The Links of North Fork and Rum River Hills. Annual community events in Ramsey include the Ramsey Lion’s Community Picnic in early June, Environmental Festival and pet clinics in early spring, Safety Camp in July, recycling days in spring and fall and the Happy Days Festival in September. The Happy Days Festival includes a craft fair, car show, parade, children’s entertainment and a street dance. The City also hosts an annual Business Appreciation Golf outing at one of the City’s golf courses in August.
