Congregations and their houses of worship are important to the lives of Richfield residents. Some have existed for over 150 years, while others are fairly new, representing the changing culture of our area. Several of our more than 20 congregations share their buildings with ethnic groups or have separate non-English language services — a reflection of a community that is friendly and welcoming. Whatever your religious preference, you are sure to find a place of worship nearby.

A wide array of community service organizations are alive and well in Richfield. They keep Richfield a very caring and livable city for young and old. Richfield Rotary Club continues to be a strong asset to our community and the Richfield Optimist Club celebrated 50 years of service in 2008, dedicated to “Bringing Out The Best In Kids.” New avenues of service through the Lions Club have started in the past year. Others, like Richfield Visions and Richfield 4th of July Committee gird our major celebrations and events. Each of our organizations contributes to keep Richfield the best place to live, work and raise a family.
