Governor’s Message
On behalf of the State of Minnesota, I commend the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce and members of the community for their efforts to strengthen our state’s business climate and quality of life.
National groups have named Minnesota one of the healthiest, smartest, and most livable states in America. Minnesota leads the nation in workforce participation, home ownership, voter turnout, and education test scores.
The Saint Paul/East Metro area, one of Minnesota’s regional economic leaders, will be on display when the Twin Cities play host to the 2008 Republican National Convention this Fall. The Convention will bring the area international recognition and showcase Minnesota as a great place to live and work.
Minnesota gave the world Judy Garland, Bob Dylan, and Charles Lindbergh, as well as scotch tape, water skiing, and SPAM. We celebrate a rich history and, with the help of the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce and its members, Minnesota is forging a dynamic future.
