A warm welcome on behalf of the White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber serves 11 communities located

just 20 minutes from the Twin Cities in the northeast suburbs of St. Paul. The quality of life enjoyed here is second to none. Residents and tourists enjoy the natural beauty of our greatest asset, White Bear Lake. The lake is known for its rich history of sailing and regattas.

Excellent fishing is experienced year round. Bicycle trails and walking paths line Lake Avenue and nearby nature centers. Throughout the area are numerous well-maintained older homes with individual character and charm. Lush golf courses, restaurants and fine dining experiences are plentiful. Unique shopping opportunities attract visitors. The White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce is the sponsor of our traditional community celebration, Manitou Days, held the third week in June. Spectacular Fourth of July fireworks are displayed over White Bear Lake. Downtown White Bear Lake is home to the White Bear Lake Historical Society and the White Bear Center for the Arts.

A healthy business climate is evident as surrounding communities experience rapid growth. Major corporations, large companies and small businesses choose to expand or relocate in our service area. A high standard of education results in a qualified labor force that provides business the tools needed to grow. The Chamber partners with the two area school districts, community colleges and the university system to emphasize the importance of education at all levels. Mentoring and School-to-Work programs are an important mission of the Chamber, educators and the business community.

The White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce is the largest business organization in the northeast suburbs. The Chamber promotes legislation on property tax reform, worker's compensation, workforce development, education, tourism and improvement of the quality of life. Together with our members, we provide programs and services that result in a better community for all.
