Serving as a regional shopping hub, Winona offers a multitude of retail shops, boutiques and other unique shopping sources.

The Downtown Historic District has been undergoing a great rejuvenation, attracting a mixture of new business to the area. The stores located in the downtown district range from clothing and furniture stores to antique and flower shops, and everything in between. The extensive shopping district is also home to Watkins Museum, known for its vanilla and spices, a wholesale market offering natural foods, a farmer’s market and a food cooperative.
Outside of the downtown shopping district is the Winona Mall, along with several other malls, all providing an assortment of retailers sure to meet every shopping need. The Highway 61 corridor offers Winona and its surrounding communities large retail stores including Target, Kmart, JC Penney, Mills Fleet Farm, Walmart and more. Also located off of Highway 61 is Sugar Loaf Antiques and Crafts, a family owned and operated antique and craft mall. A collection of unique antiques, crafts and more are on display in the more than 35,000-square-foot space, located in the historic Bub’s Brewery building (circa 1862).
