If
you enjoy a nice hometown festival, Marion County is the place to be.
Every year the Historical Society hosts an Arts and Crafts festival the
first Saturday in October, displaying various pieces of art. Some of the
crafts are made by local residents.
Perhaps music is something
you and your family enjoy!
- The Bi-annual
Legends of Bluegrass & Country Music Festival is a three-day event that
draws 3,000 people each year. This event has proven to be one of Mississippi's
biggest and best festivals. Held twice a year (March and October) this
festival has been a who's who in bluegrass.
- The Marion County
Development Partnership sponsors the annual Winterfest, the first Saturday
in December. The indoor event features arts, crafts and a car show.

first Thursday in December.
